Jiva Public School draws inspiration from the knowledge and wisdom of the 5000-year-old science of Ayurveda. Incorporating its principles into our curated programs, we engage a number of professionals to help students discover the benefits of a holistic lifestyle.
Ayur Classes comprises an array of expert-led workshops and activities to understand and develop the Prakriti of our students and enhance their intellectual, creative, emotional, and physical potential accordingly.
We also conduct different activities for counsellors, teachers, and guardians. Through our programmes, our teachers are trained to impart excellent lessons of Ayurveda to the students. Parents are also equal contributors in determining the success of Ayur School programs.
Jiva experts guide students as well as teachers towards the Jivananda lifestyle, a combination of meditation and daily exercises that energise the body, mind, and the soul throughout the whole day.
This program has been designed to impart in-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic diet and the benefits of following it. With professional assistance, students receive practical lessons on how to choose food items that suit their Prakriti and cook healthy meals with them.
Once a week, our students are trained in basic yoga asanas, breathing exercises, and meditation practices. A Yogacharya helps students understand the importance of doing yoga every day and how it helps balance the mind, body, and soul.
The culture of a society is reflected in the virtues that its members practice. The India in Action programme helps students imbibe the virtues of compassion, empathy, generosity, and kindness in their young hearts and minds.
Jiva Interact Club collaborated with the Rotary Club Aastha to organise a highly-appreciated blood donation camp at Jiva Public School. Guardians, too, participated in the programme with great interest and enthusiasm.
Joint endeavours between JPS teachers, students, and guardians help organise various awareness drives throughout the year. Here, students of JPS are engaged in a major plantation drive (Green Faridabad Initiative), organised in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Faridabad. Such programmes help school students to co-operate and empathise with others in society.
In collaboration with NGOs, Jiva Public School practices the good deed of giving back to society, and encourages teachers and students to do the same. Here are students of JPS enthusiastically participating in Worn Clothes Collection Drive and urging people to donate for the needy.
