Installation Ceremony of New Rotary Interact Club Members at Jiva

The Installation Ceremony of new Rotary Interact Club members in school was facilitated on 10th August. Interact Club is a sister branch of Rotary club, wherein students in school are selected as members. This is the fifth year in succession of Interact Club in school. The school members designated are Dipanshi Khattar President, Ashmita Das Vice President, Akanksha Choudhary Secretary, Nischay Kathuria Joint Secretary and Palak as the Treasurar. They were awarded with the Interact Pin, thereafter administered oath by the Rotary Club President Mr. Deepak Prasad, The New members swore to join hands with Rotary club to render their services for the welfare of society. Rotary Club is an International Association that works in country and abroad.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp. The Rotary Club District Governor Nominee Rotarian Anoop Mittal, Rotary Club President Deepak Prasad, Jiva Ayurved President Rotarian Madhusudan, District Interact Chair Rotarian Mridula Khatri and other members of Rotary Club joined hands to light the lamp. The occasion was also graced by Rotary Club Aastha Director Rotarian Neeraj Bhutani. The Jiva Chairman Rishi Pal Chauhan, Director Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan, Principal Mrs. Devina Nigam were present too.

The Rotary Club President unreservedly appreciated the principles of school. The Rotary President Deepak Prasad announced Himanshu Mittal the best and most active interact and awarded him the Best ZIR, and a Certificate of Merit. The Interact club Ex-President Himanshu Mittal handed the collar to Dipanshi Khattar.The school was bestowed with Platinum Award in Elite Category.

D.G.N. Rotarian Anoop Mittal addressing the students, extolled to become a active and conscious citizen of the country. It becomes our foremost duty to preserve the various reservoirs of the country and prevent their exhaustion. He stated that young children are blessed with immense energy, which should be wisely used.

On the occasion, the guest District Interact Chair Mridula Khatri motivated and inspired the students with a tale.

The Rotary Club Aastha had organised the Swearing in ceremony of new student office – bearers for the current academic session, at Jiva Public School on 23 July. This is the third consecutive year of the Interact club at Jiva. During the programme the students at Jiva were selected for various prestigious offices. Amongst the selected students from class XI is Himanshu Mittal as President, Prateek Vice – President and Vijay Arora, the Secretary. Rohan Papreja as Cashier. Each of these office – bearers were honoured with designation pin/badges. The out going President Sumit Chandila administered them the oath with an undertaking to work in coordination with the club in future. Rotary club is not confined to the limits of our country but its an institution that works at international level as well.

The programme commenced with the traditional prayer, followed by lightning of the lamp. The occasion was graced by the presence of District Governor Rotarian Vinay Bhatia, Rotary Club President Rotarian Rahul Jain, Jiva Ayurveda Director Rotarian MadhuSudan and other members of the club. The Jiva School Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan, Director Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan, administrator Mrs. Mukta Sachdeva, Principal Mrs. Devina Nigam and coordinator Deepa Gaba were present too.

A Co-Sharing Programme by Jiva Teachers and Parents/Guardians

     The school facilitates each individual student to develop and groom themselves confidently and empathize with others in society. The 71st Celebration of Independence Day was unique in itself. Under the India in Action programme the Jiva pupils, in coordination with an NGO Khushi Ek Ahsas visited Jagrati Public School in Sainik Colony, Faridabad, there they distributed syllabus related text books to underprivileged students. It was a joint venture between Jiva Teachers and Students and Parents and Guardians.

    At the same occasion the Jiva’s 21 students and teachers in association with Rotary Club met people at Crown Interior Mall and conducted a Body Type Test. A few alumni had also joined the programme.

    The people at the Mall were equally excited to know about their Body Type and follow the diet accordingly to maintain their sound health. The Jivites also collaborated in the blood donation programme by Rotary Club.

    The Managing Director Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan stated that such programme inculcate a feeling of brotherhood and unity. He appreciated the teachers and students efforts.

Jiva Public School hosted the second installation ceremony of the school Interact Club in its spawning auditorium on 16th July. The programme was sponsored by Rotary Club Faridabad, a renowned organisation across the world with various global undertakings for the welfare of humanity. In this programme a few of our students were chosen as members of Rotary Club, to enable them render their services to the community and work for social welfare in the society.

It is a privilege for our students to be a part of Rotary Club. During the programme Riddhima Chaudhary was made the President, Jitesh Vice-President and Anjali Khatana Secretary, thereafter the office-bearers were pinned their badges respectively. The out-going President Geetika Papreja administered them the oath and wished the noble task to be carried out in future with the Rotary Club. Geetika, also gave a brief insight into the undertakings during her tenure.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a warm welcome extended to the dignitaries present. The occasion was graced by the Rotary Club District Governor Rotarian Vinay Bhatia, Jiva Ayurveda Director Rotarian Madhusudan, Rotarian Amit Juneja, Assistant Governor Rotarian Rajesh Mendiratta, Assistant Governor Rotarian Anil Juneja, Ex-President Rotary Club Neeraj Bhutani and Rotary Club Aastha Faridabad Prateek Gupta. The school Principal Mrs. Chanderlata Chauhan, Administrator Mrs. Mukta Sachdeva and Yogacharya Harish Mohan were also present.

The programme presented a dance drama on the theme child labour to convey the message that child labour is a bane to society and needs to be banned completely. On the occasion the District Governor Rotarian Vinay Bhatia and Rotary Club President Shri Prateek Gupta addressed the students and apprised them with the objectives of the Rotary Club.

The Director Jiva Ayurveda Institute Shri Madhusudan Chauhan gave a detailed insight into the objectives and goals of the Rotary Club. He also reminded the students of their social work carried out everyday in school and writing the same in their SOE and sharing it with others.
