Republic Day Celebrated at Jiva Public School
The Republic Day, at Jiva Public School was marked with great aplomb, excitement and patriotic fervor, followed by enthralling cultural programme. Such celebrations instill a feeling of patriotism among students and they become aware of the chief objective of the Republic. Each citizen in a republican country has been granted certain rights for individual progress and a holistic development. The students are intimated about the constitution of our country their rights and that the culture of our country is deep rooted and integrated.
The cultural programme staged by the students included patriotic song, a short skit reviewing the fundamental rights of Indian citizens and a brief presentation of the Indian Constitution. A dance drama recital highlighted unity in diversity and the rich culture of the country. The message conveyed was about love and integrity amongst the people despite diverse religion and languages followed in the country.
The Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan addressed the students and teachers, stating that India is our motherland and we all constitute one large family, hence it is the foremost duty of each citizen to fulfill his responsibilities towards its family. If we maintain an optimum balance between rights and duties it will prove fruitful for the nation.
