Raksha Parav Commemorated at Jiva
The school premises was marked with patriotic fervor in the occasion of Raksha Parav fecilitation. This Parav is commemorated in collaboration with Dainik Jagran to honour the valiant soldiers posted on the borders of our country. The occasion was graced by Dainik Jagran Bureau Chief Shri Sushil Bhatia, Brand Manager Shri Ajay Yadav, Retd. Indian Army Soldier Shri Prem Singh from Aathali village, the NGO manager Karamveer and Shri OP Panchal. Dainik Jagran has entitled this programme as Bharat Raksha Parva symbolizing the festival Raksha bandhan. The beautiful handmade silken tassels known as Rakhi are offered to Indian Soldiers at the borders, who protect and guard the borders from infiltration and enemy attacks. This is a small gesture to express gratitude and honour for their selfless services by Indian citizens, which would surely fill them with joy and happiness in the isolated regions.
This programme is an honourable undertaking by Dainik Jagran, that reminds the country men of these soldiers selfless services, due to which we enjoy our festivals with aplomb amidst our near and dear ones. These soldiers enshoulder the responsibility of defending the border day-night. Addressing the students the Bureau Chief Shri Sushil Bhatia stated that Jiva Public School emphasizes on moral values and culture, which in itself is a precept for others. He expressed his gratitude with immense respect towards the country soldiers. Shri Karamveer Singh said that every deed that benefits the society is a person’s love for his country.
All the guests present on the occasion expressed their views and felt service to mankind is service to the country. The school Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan stated that he has initiated an undertaking to rid the district of pollution in three years.
