Ladli Dronacharya Award conferred at Jiva Public School

The teachers at Jiva Public School were conferred with the ‘Ladli Dronacharya Award’ on 7th January, 2020. In coordination with Jiva Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan and the institute following Beti Bachao Abhiyan, the awards were bestowed to 17 teachers for their special contribution. The Head of Lion Club Daffodil Shri Suresh Sharma was the Chief Guest, Social Worker R.D. Sharma and Rekha Sharma were the Guest of Honour Harish Chandra Azad National Convenor Beti Bachao Abhiyan and Seema Sharma National Head Beti Bachao Abhiyan presided over the programme. The occasion was graced by the presence of School Director Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan, Administrator Mrs. Mukta Sachdeva and Principal Mrs. Devina Nigam.

The purpose of this award ceremony was to bridge the gap of discrimination between sons and daughters and bring home the fact that family dynasty is not only carried by sons but also equally by daughters. The Chief Guest in his address, stated that we people should change our perception and mindset. The National Dean Rekha Sharma said that their motive is not only to save girls but also empower and make them strong. Shri R.D. Sharma believes that the house where a woman is respected, divine ambience is found there.

The name of the awarded teachers are :- Monica Sharma, Namita Bist, Neeru Dua, Parminder Kaur, Priyanka Bhalla, Taruna Kalra, Rupesh Kumar, Susan Desouza, Alka Chaudhary, Hemlata Bajaj, Madhupriya, Manju Rani, Meenakshi Rajput, Pubaly Dev, Sangeeta Bhatia, Sulagna Chatterjee and Swati Garg.

The Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan addressing the august gathering said that the universe existed due to motherhood. We must respect woman as Nature too pays reverence to woman. The need of the hour is to strengthen woman so as campaign like Beti Bachao may cease for ever, Shri Chauhan assured that Jiva teachers and he himself will take all possible initiatives to serve and contribute for the campaign.
