Basant Panchami Fecilitated Traditionally
The advent of spring season and Basant Panchami fest was marked with aplomb and great revelry in the school premises. Our country is a land of religion and festivals, hence every season is welcome with celebration and significance. Goddess Saraswati, known for granting knowledge and wisdom is worshipped across the country on the occasion. All educational institutes observe the day by offering ‘Puja’ followed by cultural programme. Jiva Public School fecilitates all festivals most dedicatedly and traditionally, with a view to keep up the culture and inculcate cultural values among the students.
The programme commenced with ‘Saraswati Vandana’ followed by Sanskrit ‘Shlokas’ and its explanatory meaning in-coordination with teachers and students. The Goddess Saraswati was also worshipped by Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan, Director Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan, Administrator Mrs. Mukta Sachdeva and Principal Mrs. Devina Nigam. The dress code colour for today was yellow with ‘Yellow rice’ offered as ‘Prasad’, extending a warm welcome to spring season which conveys the message of auspicious change in Nature cycle and climate.
The Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan, Director Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan had wished the teachers and students on the occasion. The Principal Mrs. Devina Nigam had also extended her warm wishes to them.
