Rishi Pal Chauhan is the founder-president of Jiva Institute of Vedic Sciences, a non-profit organization that runs the Jiva Public School. A postgraduate in Mechanical Engineering, he has over 20 years’ experience in Quality Control Management both in India and the US. Mr. Chauhan oversees the operations of all Jiva programmes and plays a central role in the evolution and creation of Jiva’s novel programmes and products. He has been paramount in establishing the innovative ideas behind our Personal Development Program that includes Self, Others, Environment, Dincharya Ke Niyam (Daily Routine) and Swadhyay (Self-Reflection).
Steven Rudolph, Director, Education
Steven Rudolph (M.Ed., Temple University) is an American educator and one of the founding directors of Jiva. Rudolph is a pioneer in educational methodologies and technology in India that combine Vedic wisdom with latest Western concepts. He co-established the Jiva Public School and developed a holistic curriculum called ICOT (India’s Curriculum of Tomorrow). He has conducted hundreds of educational workshops for parents and teachers and is credited to developing the pioneering Theory of Multiple Natures. He has provided educational consulting to the World Bank, UNESCO, Apple Computer, Microsoft, Intel, and Indian bodies such as the NCERT, the CBSE, the ICSE Board, and the MHRD.
Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan has had a chequered experience with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, before she decided to join as the Principal of Jiva Public School over fifteen years ago. She is noted for her excellence in interpersonal and administrative skills, which are critical to ensuring all of our innovative programs are successfully integrated and maintained. Mrs. Chauhan constantly finds new ways to keep the school on the forefront of learning, while carefully ensuring that the values and traditions of India are maintained.
